Shes all talk...
Yesterday and today Lydia has really started talking to us on purpose. Since she was about 4 weeks old she has made cooing noises, but starting this week it has seemed really on purpose. We can talk to her and then she will talk back to us, etc. She will keep going for about 10-15 minutes and then she starts talking REALLY loud and that usually means she is about to start fussing. Necon's Aunt Martha gave her this caterpillar toy that she absolutely LOVES. She thinks it is funny and likes to laugh at it. Tonight she has spent a lot of time talking to it. We also weighed her today and she already weighs 13 pounds!! I can't beleive it...The last picture is just a bonus because I think it is hilarious!!
We are the Champions!!
Necon's ball team won their end of the season tournament this past Tuesday night. They were playing in the third place game and won. So then they had to beat the unbeaten team twice to win the tourney! They were losing in the last inning of both games and came back and won! It is really fun to watch him get to play ball with his brother and dad! Their season was dedicated to Necon's best frend Travis who passed away earlier this year. We know he is proud of the huge trophy they brought home.
Family Visit
Necon's family came into town last weekend for his twin sister's baby shower! It was the first time for Lydia to meet some of them. We had a great visit and look forward to seeing them this coming weekend for the big WEDDING!!

Cousin Thomas...we had Lydia in her bouncy seat but then she started trying to sit up by herself and she almost rolled out twice, so we moved her to the blow up mattress with Thomas!
Halloween
Now that I am back to work full time I am having trouble finding time to blog. Here finally are the pictures of my adorable little pumpkin!! We had a Halloween party (Lydia's first time to get an invitation in the mail with her name on it!!) and then on Halloween we Trick or Treated around our cul-de-sac and to both sets of grandparents! Halloween has never been so much fun!

Daddy's Birthday
Playtime!!
Lydia is getting to be very playful with all of her toys! Here are some pictures of her enjoying a few of her favorites!
My Uncle Chuck's parents, Charles and Bonnie, gave us a giftcard we used to buy her this super cute play mat. She absolutely LOVES it. The monkey is her favorite, but she will talk to the elephant as well. We have been trying to get her to reach up for the toys, but that has only happened on accident so far. There is also a mirror we put her on her tummy to look at. She has been known to push up on her tummy, but it doesn't happen every time.

These pictures are from Monday, 10/15 when she was 7 weeks old. I was folding clothes and I looked over and Lydia was pushed up on her belly!! It is so much fun watching her develop...pardon the baby cleavage in the first two pictures! She is definitely getting to be quite the chunky baby! That is from her daddy for sure...
She only held herself up for about 15 seconds and then got super tired...
So I put her in her Bumbo, but she wasn't really sure about it.
She cried soon after this picture was taken

First Shots
Today, Necon and I took Lydia to the doctor for her first set of shots. She got three shots and an oral immunization. The oral one was for rotavirus. The first shot was for pneumococcal stuff like pneumonia and meningitis. The second was Hib and the last one was the PediaRx. It is for polio, Hep B, Diptheria, tetanus and pertussis. We were really nervous that we wouldn't handle it very well, but she did so great!! We were so proud of her. We came home and gave her some Tylenol. She has been fussy while she is awake (which is WAY out of her normal), but I have kept her asleep most of the day. Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow. I will say that the nurse was wonderful and the shots were over super fast.
Necon was lucky enough to be off work so he could go with us.
The cute little baby has no idea what we are about to do to her...
Still cute AND unsuspecting...
OUCH!!
Thankfully she stopped crying right away!
